In keeping with the tone and manner of the Uniqlo U promotional materials, the focus was telling as simple and direct story as possible — in other words, let the styling and photography speak for themselves.

However, for this season, we took on a new challenge of adding bilingual insights to select products which came directly from directly interviewing Christophe Lemaire and his team in Paris.

The solution to connect these two opposing ideas was to integrate season-relevant colored half-pages as a nested guide to the season’s collection. 

Both Men’s and Women’s collection have a cover, with contents meeting at a mixed central spread that includes the interview text from Lemaire himself.
