UNIQLO’s UT Grand Prix (UTGP) is a yearly t-shirt design competition open to everyone from all over the world.
In 2017, we worked with Nintendo to create the theme asking creators and fans worldwide to create amazing designs with their favorite characters.
The competition drew over 10,000 entries and an award ceremony was held at Nintendo HQ in Kyoto — a first — where staff from various teams joined Miyamoto Shigeru, Takashi Tezuka, and Koji Kondo (The original Mario team) in congratulating the winners.
